Training is held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 8:00 AM. (Please see calendar for available course dates in GREEN)
Assessment is held on Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday at 7:00 AM.
Please be advised that starting on the 9th of October 2023, our course schedule is as follows:
Monday training – Tuesday assessment
Tuesday training – Wednesday assessment
Wednesday training – Friday assessment
Thursday training – Friday assessment
Time
Training: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Assessment: 7.00 AM – Finish (finish time depends on what order you sit your practical test)

FAQ’s
We can recognise your prior experience on the forklift, however, you will need to undergo the training course above to make sure that you are up to date with your theory and practical (we will make sure you haven’t picked up any bad habits!). We want everyone to have the best chance of passing the exam first time around, so training is highly recommended.
Yes, on successful completion of this course you will be able to apply for your forklift licence. This is issued by Workplace Health & Safety Queensland. FMS Training will issue you with a Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS) which you will be able to lodge online and your licence will be mailed out to you. You have 60 days to lodge your form online. After this period your Candidate Assessment Summary (CAS) will be deemed invalid and you will need to pay for another reassessment. So it is VERY IMPORTANT that you do this straight away.
You can operate the forklift as of the day you pass your test and after you pay the Workplace Health & Safety QLD licensing fee. Your payment receipt from Workplace Health & Safety QLD acts as an interim licence.
Please call Workplace Health & Safety QLD on 1300 362 128, as they are the issuing body. This process should only take a couple of weeks.
Yes, the LF Forklift Licence is a High Risk Work Licence ‘HRWL’, and allows you to operate any type of Forklift, regardless of weight.
